Some reviews from Amazon:
5.0 out of 5 stars The most original Urban Fantasy I’ve ever read., April 6, 2010
By Paul Jessup (Erie, PA United States)
This is the one book I think a lot of us have been waiting to read. It’s urban fantasy that really is Urban, and it’s about damned time someone did it. The characters in this book are drawn from myth but talk so real and human and the words just come alive on the page. Maurice Broaddus knows the human heart, knows how they talk and breathe, and this book sings with so many awesome things.
I don’t want to spoil it for you, so I won’t give details of the plot. But you must read it. It’s full of wonderful surprises.

Loved this! I keep pushing it on my friends because I think it’s a great combination of the horrifying reality of living in a modern city’s ghetto and Arthurian legend. Can’t wait to read the second book in the series!
